Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in an intense clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology that lifts the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its standard vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a complete and robust product, with the only drawback being that it's costly. The number of features make it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the cost, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The premium price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag for dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops I tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. In addition it's not as adept at removing staining that is as strong as those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station has to be cleaned out, and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the money for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while enjoying clean hands at home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could find, its high cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to tidy up mess and remove dirt from your hard floors. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery capacity to power both vacuuming and mowing, and top-notch obstacle avoidance. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. However, if you do select this option you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot cleaner with mop brands that allow you to use your own cleaner of choice.

Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map the space and navigated around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can pick particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've created. There are a number of mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to find the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the space.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, like all the Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized manner. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, however it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets but it might not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be an issue for people who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: The app offers an option that allows you to "clean up" at the end of each session.
